Savannah College of Art and Design Launches Fashion Eyewear Minor Degree

SAVANNAH, Ga.—The Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) has announced its new fashion eyewear design minor degree program for the 2025 to 2026 academic year. In response to the eyewear industry’s rapid growth, projected to reach $246 billion by 2030, SCAD is launching the first accredited fashion eyewear design program at a U.S. university. Housed within SCAD’s prestigious School of Fashion, this innovative fashion eyewear design program integrates the curriculum and premier resources of SCAD’s top-ranked accessory design and jewelry design programs, the school stated.
