Harrow Enters Agreement to Acquire Melt Pharmaceuticals

NASHVILLE, Tenn.—Harrow (Nasdaq: HROW), a leading provider of ophthalmic disease management solutions in North America, announced that it has entered into an agreement to acquire Melt Pharmaceuticals, Inc., a clinical-stage pharmaceutical company developing non-opioid, non-IV sedation therapies for medical procedures in hospitals and outpatient and in-office settings. The closing of this acquisition is subject to customary closing conditions including approval by Melt stockholders, and excluding Harrow and Harrow-affiliated parties, according to the announcement. Melt Pharmaceuticals was originally a subsidiary of Harrow Health and was spun out in January 2019.
