Hyperion DeFi Appoints David Knox as Chief Financial Officer

LAGUNA HILLS, Calif.—Hyperion DeFi, Inc. (NASDAQ: HYPD), which in June launched its cryptocurrency treasury reserve strategy focused on the HYPE token that is native to the decentralized digital asset exchange and Layer-1 blockchain, Hyperliquid, has announced the appointment of David Knox, CFA, as chief financial officer, effective immediately. The move is part of a broader strategic initiative to strengthen governance and accelerate the company’s decentralized finance (DeFi) strategy, according to the announcement. Knox joins Hyperion DeFi from PayPal, where he served as head of capital markets and head of finance for global credit and financial services.
