Silmo Announces Winners of 32nd Silmo d’Or Awards, International Optician of the Year

PARIS—On Saturday, September 27, Silmo Paris hosted its 32nd Silmo d’Or Awards ceremony, which took place this year at Pavillon Gabriel in the heart of Paris. Hosted by Silmo president Amélie Morel, the Awards ceremony honored winners in 12 categories, and two special categories—Committed Company Award and Jury’s Special Prize—as well as the International Optician of the Year, which was announced by the International Opticians’ Association (IOA). For 2025, Blair Wong, a licensed optician, master in ophthalmic optics with an MA in education, was honored as the International Optician of the Year.
