Today Is World Sight Day: Raising Global Awareness for Eye Health

LONDON—World Sight Day 2025 is being celebrated today, the second Thursday in October, as an annual global event emphasizing the vital importance of eyecare. This year's campaign, coordinated by the International Agency for the Prevention of Blindness (IAPB) in cooperation with the World Health Organization, focuses on ensuring eyecare is accessible, available, and affordable for everyone. The IAPB launched its 2025 World Sight Day campaign in July, urging the eyecare industry and other stakeholders to #LoveYourEyes.
