Silmo Paris Announces 2026 Optical Design Contest, Chaired by Olivier Lapidus

PARIS—Organizers of Silmo Paris have announced the 2026 edition of the Silmo Optical Design Contest, with a mission of inspiring, showcasing and supporting the talents of tomorrow. This edition invites design students to “explore the possibilities of vision, push the boundaries of creativity, and imagine what ‘seeing tomorrow’ will look like,” show organizers said. French designer Olivier Lapidus, who served as the jury president of Silmo d’Or 2025, will chair the jury for the 2026 Optical Design Contest.
