The Vision Council’s Q3 Consumer inSights Report Reveals Stable Vision Care Utilization and Purchasing Habits

ALEXANDRIA, Va.—The Vision Council announced it has released the Consumer inSights Q3 2025 report, which shows that vision care utilization and purchasing habits have remained stable through the third quarter of 2025, with strong engagement in eye exams and in-person eyewear purchases across all demographics, according to a nationally representative survey of 12,097 adults in the U.S., aged 18 or older. The report also examines consumer attitudes and behaviors related to vision correction, managed vision care, eye exams, prescription eyewear, reading glasses and non-prescription sunglasses.
