Bausch + Lomb Supports Fundraising, Social Media Initiatives for Glaucoma Awareness

VAUGHAN, Ont.—Leading global eye health company Bausch + Lomb Corporation (NYSE/TSX: BLCO) has announced the launch of its fifth annual fundraising challenge with the Glaucoma Research Foundation (GRF) during Glaucoma Awareness Month this January. The company will also sponsor The Glaucoma Foundation’s (TGF) social media campaign, which is designed to raise awareness of the disease and its impact by highlighting a glaucoma patient or advocate every day in January. A chronic, progressive condition, glaucoma is a leading cause of irreversible blindness, the announcement shared, but early detection has been found to help slow and potentially prevent vision loss.
