BVI Appoints Jim Hollingshead as President and Chief Executive Officer

WALTHAM, Mass.—BVI, a global ophthalmic device company, has announced the appointment of Jim Hollingshead as president and chief executive officer (CEO). Hollingshead succeeds Shervin Korangy, who the company said will continue to serve as an advisor to BVI and begin a new role as senior advisor to TPG Capital. Hollingshead has over 20 years of experience leading medical device and life sciences companies. He was most recently CEO of Insulet, a leader in insulin delivery. Prior to that, he spent 12 years at ResMed, a medical technology company, serving as president of their sleep and respiratory care business.
