Foundation Fighting Blindness and Alma Partner to Provide Mental Health Support for Blind and Low Vision Individuals

COLUMBIA, Md.—The Foundation Fighting Blindness (FFB), a private funding source for retinal degenerative disease research, announced a national partnership with mental health network Alma, to provide personalized mental health therapy to individuals who are blind or have low vision. Alma, with a network of 25,000 mental health professionals dedicated to simplifying access to high-quality, affordable mental health care, was selected as a strategic partner based on its mission alignment, commitment to provider education and patient-focused training, the announcement noted.
